Here are some new products that I think could come out with the Galaxy Collection

The eyeshadows could either be individual or they could come as a galaxy eyeshadow pallet.

For my Beauty Look i still wanted it to be bold and I really wanted to use the same or similar colours to the fantasy look. Looking back at my original galaxy pictures I also realised that their was blue colours in the galaxy which I wanted to incorporate into my Beauty look. I wanted the eyeshadow to go all the way up to the eyebrow and the rest of the face to be very natural apart from a statement lip colour.

Here are my favourite images from the shoot; 

I like the use of colours on the eyeshadow you can see the 3 main colours i have used on the eyes which were, purple, pink, and blue. I then added black almost stud like to the eyelid and lips and created a purple lipstick using eyeshadow. For the hair i scrapped it off the face to a high pony tail and added black masking tape as an accessory in the hair. I will use this again I think it works well it is called Gorilla Tape and I like it because it doesn't have a shine.

At the start the camera was too bright so I had to change the settings as you were unable to see the colours on the face.

Here is the galaxy nails I created, the base was navy gel and then I added polish on to the top.

Here is my favourite image from the shoot because it shows the different colours of the makeup, along with the nails and the texture I created in the hair.

This is the hair style i want to use for my fantasy look as I want to show off techniques I have learnt in class, I would change it slightly by not bringing it up towards the head and making it more of a rounded shape like the planet; Saturn. I also will be using a blonde model and am going to have the hair clips on show as this has been done on the catwalk recently.

I drew a face chart and then did a practice to see how it went and what I need to change and also what the products I use are like on the face. 

I started off using a light purple shimmer eyeshadow and applied it under my eye and around my cheeks and on my forehead this started off as a base.

I then added a darker purple over the light purple and higher on the forehead and took it lower on my cheeks.

I then added a pink shimmery eyeshadow to create some more colours and depth.

I then add a dark grey around the sides to add depth

Added slight black around the eye as an eyeliner

I then added white dots and crosses to look like the starts on the galaxy and added small crystals to add some shimmer I stuck them on with Duo glue

At the end I wipped the edges so it was clean and sharp and then applied rich liquid foundation and applied silver eyeshadow to the lipstick.

I am really pleased with this look I think it went really well, the eyeshadows I used were from MUA and are a really shimmery colour which I hope would work well on camera.

Things I would change for the final

• add more hilighting colours
• do not do the white crosses are this looks to clean cut
• do not do the white dots
• just add white small splats on the face
• Do something with the eyebrows

I want to incorporate nails into one of my looks as I am a Bio Sculpture trained nail technician and also looking at previous Illamasqua collections nails are featured alot in the final photos and they always bring out new nail varnishes and always make video tutorials to create nail art. I thought as galaxy nails are popular some products to come out with my campaign could be a set of nail varnishes and then they could do a video to create Galaxy Nails using their new nail polishes.

Here are the images I have found of galaxy inspired hair on Pinterest however these are dyed, I could create this look using colour hair sprays or hair chalks which are in fashion now as pastel hair colours are now in fashion. I did go out and buy a dark purple/red however when I put it on my model it did not look right at all and look really fake. I want to do a hairstyle that shows the techniques I have learnt in class.

I really like some of these looks my favourite is the 3rd one down, I love the colours they've used and how they've used crystals on their face, I think I am inspired to use crystals on mine.

I've looked at this video for inspiration for my galaxy makeup I have looked at the hair, makeup and nails and also the background imagery.

I have been brainstorming more ideas and have come up with the theme galaxy, I thought this would be a good idea for a collection and Illamasqua could create a story to go with this collection. I have started off my research by looking at images of galaxies and the main colours in a galaxy. 

From looking at these images the two main colours that jump out at me are purple and a light colour which if in makeup I would use a light white shimmer/silver such as MACs vanilla pigment. Also the other thing that really stands out at me is how the colours mix, so with makeup this would be all about blending the colours together which is s technique I have been practising in class recently. 

2 main colours I would use are;

• Purple
• Silver
